Future plans
Our end goal is to open a shop in Lutterworth, that specialises in fresh, dry aged and prepared seafood. Heavily focused on nose to tail, we will prepare dishes traditionally seen in butcher shops; hence the name. The shop will be modern in style, getting away from the metal slabs and ice traditionally seen in fishmongers. Celebrating cuts of fish: old and forgotten, traditional and new. In addition we will showcase British seafood with a blackboard lunch menu.
Current business
Whist we continue our struggles with local permissions from Environmental health and the remainder of the funding, we are pushing forward with outside catering and providing private catering.
The plan for 2025 is for an intermediate stage, providing both a shop and a a food offering to tour markets, events and food festivals. Keep an eye on our social media for updates.
RNLI
As we work directly with our fishermen, we will be supporting the RNLI. They do an excellent job of keeping people safe and saving people in our seas and inland waterways.
